This is totally random. My friend and I were discussing something when I just realized that I'm so chinese-ed right now. No offence to chinese educated people, but I used to dislike them when I was in school (that was aeons ago!). I used to think that they're so air-headed and silly.
And to my total surprise, I'm being air-headed now. And totally silly... (check previous posts for proof...) Anyway, I'm like stuck between two worlds. The chinese-ed and the english-ed. If I meet up with my CPTs, I feel so out of place. If I'm too english-ed with my ACONians, I'm a weird person. So how do I justify that?!
Let me see. Having socialised (and socialising still) with the chinese-ed people, I find them really interesting. Their school of thoughts are totally different from the english-ed people. Their priorities, their topics... Whereas the english-ed people? Hmm. They're everywhere. As in they have great aspirations and visions and missions and places to go, things to do. Mountains to climb, space to conquer. They're: cool.
Well, to be fair, I'm just jotting that down from my experiences with both worlds. What I noticed anyway. When I first went to ACON, I couldn't settle down there coz everyone was so "different". Now when I'm back among the gang, I feel so silly and little. Different priorities I guess. Or different thoughts maybe. Whatever it is, I should try to be more positive and grateful that I've got both worlds on my side. I can mix around with both and hopefully, I'll find my footing again. And to have this two worlds on my side, I'm grateful.
